Mommy Moments: Kids in Costume

mommy moments

This week's theme in Mommy Moments is Kids in Costume. We attended a Halloween Costume Party in the office last year and it was Jeremy's first time to don a costume. We bought a penguin costume for him because it was the smallest we could find. I guess the other costumes sold out fast and those that were left behind were either big or out of our budget LOL!

Anyway, Jeremy wore this costume for approximately 10 minutes and then he threw up all over it. Oh yes, it was such a mess. His nanny was in a hurry (and I didn't know why) to feed him and just kept on putting lasagna in his mouth and then it happened. The photographer didn't even get the chance to take a decent pic of him. Good thing we had a dress rehearsal at home and I forced him to wear it. You can see in his face that he didn't like it. Maybe it was itchy or he was just having one of those days.

I just kept his costume and maybe he can wear it again this year when we go on a trick or treat. Who knows he might actually like wearing it this time around :)

Mommy Moments: Siblings/Cousin Bonding

mommy moments

When I saw my children together for the first time, I felt an overwhelming sense of happiness. My 2 y/o old son looked lovingly at his younger sister but this is short-lived as I noticed him itching to tug at her leg LOL! Whenever they're together we're always alert because my son loves to hold hands and his baby sister is too delicate to be held yet.

It's difficult to take a pic of them together as my son squirms most of the time so this is the best that we got. I bet it would be too cute once they start playing together and I'll make sure to catch snapshots when that time comes.

Their cousins live next door but I've yet to take a pic of them together as we just moved here 2 weeks ago. Maybe I can add it some other time :)

Mommy Moments: Bath Time

This week's theme is Bath time and I just realized I don't have a lot of pictures with this theme. I remember taking a snap shot of Jeremy's first bath but it got lost somewhere. Oh well.

Anyways, this picture was taken last year before he turned 2. It was after he took a bath though LOL! He was wrapped in his towel with his daddy holding him.

Bagong shower

He just loves to take a bath and when we put him in his tub, he just doesn't want to get out of it anymore :D He gives us a hard time whenever we tell him bathing time is over but I can't really blame him. With the scorching heat this summer, one would really love to just take a splash in the water :)

Mommy Moments: Bonding Time

mommy moments

I am a stay-at-home mom and good thing I found a great job that allows me to work at home. However, even if this is the case, I also work full time so while I'm on shift, my son is with his nanny and then I just go down to check on him often.

When it's my day off, we like to go out, just hang out in the mall, do our grocery or just have a quick lunch. It's nice for Jeremy to see other people too LOL! Sometimes we let him play at the Kid's Village so that he can mingle with the other kids.

The pictures below were taken during our visit to the Manila Ocean Park last December. It was our first time there and we all enjoyed the trip. Jeremy looked amazed with all the fishes he saw even those above him. When we were done touring the place, he found a mini-playground and true enough, he enjoyed it more :)

Mommy Moments: Feeding Time

mommy moments

This is my first time to join this tag which is done every Friday :)

The theme for this week is Feeding time. I have included a picture here of Jeremy when he was about 11mos. old only and he was serious with his bottle while we were strolling at the mall. LOL! Look how long his hair was. We only had it cut when he reached 1 yr. old but prior to that he has been sporting long hair in a ponytail :)

at the mall

The second picture was taken just last Feb. 1 when we attended a Jollibee birthday party. He was so excited to be there and was mingling with the guests. One would think it was his birthday :)

He is soo fond of spaghetti and this one from Jollibee is by far his favorite. And one serving was not enough for him that I had to get another one :D

Photobucket

I am at my happiest when its feeding time and he eats without resistance. LOL! Good thing he eats almost everything but sometimes can be picky when he has eaten something prior to feeding time.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers everywhere! Welcome back to me as well! 😄 It has been a very long time since my last entry. I am...
